The idea

ECONOMIX is a sandbox economy simulation. Every citizen is simulated individually — their jobs, wages and everyday shopping create the demand that keeps the economy running. You don't run a company: you run the country. There is no set goal and no final turn — the game goes on for as long as your people live.

What works today

World

Every game starts on a freshly generated map — terrain, resources and towns linked by roads.

People

Every citizen lives their own life: they are born, learn, work, shop and grow old. Their needs drive the economy.

Economy

Mines, farms, factories and power plants form production chains. Companies trade, set prices and open or close businesses on their own.

Logistics

Goods travel by car over a road network. Roads and buildings wear out and need to be repaired.

State

You don't run a company — you run the country: taxes, benefits, minimum wage and public infrastructure.

Where it's heading

Living economy

Companies invest, expand and new ones rise in place of those that fail.

Real consequences

Businesses go bankrupt, the treasury can run dry — and if the population dies out, the game is over.

Full control of policy

Set pensions and benefits; prices follow supply and demand, inflation included.

Clear overview

A dashboard of the country's condition, alerts on critical events and a gentle introduction for new players.
